Each player has either a character or smiley set of cards (and a zero and decimal point card if wished) face up.
Lay out other cards face down between players.

Number runs

Based on card game “Rummy”. (remove duck decimal point cards) Deal out 4 spot cards to each player. Rest of the cards are placed in a stack face down.
Take it in turns to take a card from the new card stack or the top card from the reject stack. Either keep the new card (and throw out another) or reject the card. Put on the reject stack face up.

Winner is first person to have a run of 4 consecutive numbers.

Harder Versions: 5 cards or cards have to be same colour.

Go Fish

Traditional card game. Deal out all cards between players.
Aim is to collect sets of cards (3 or 6 allows all the cards to be used; 4 or 5 will result in left-over cards)
Any complete sets can be laid down and then cannot be taken by another player.

First player asks another if they have a particular card (i.e. do you have a 3?) If they do they hand it over. Play moves onto next person.

Winner is person to have most sets at the end of the game.

Winner is first person to lose all their cards.
