Informal Maths Assessment/dyscalculia screener
It may be that a full diagnostic assessment is not suitable, and that a shorter informal assessment of maths is more appropriate.
This assessment will take around 1.5/2 hours to complete and is usually conducted in person. The subsequent report will not make a judgement on the causes of the maths difficulties but will investigate the current understanding of maths and provide detailed analysis for the next steps in teaching and learning. It will give suggestions of resources to support this learning for both home and school. Additionally, it can also offer a viewpoint on whether any of the mathematical difficulties seen are indicators of dyscalculia and whether a full diagnostic assessment is an appropriate way forward in the future.
If following an informal assessment, a full diagnostic assessment is undertaken within one year, a discount on will be applied.
